Scope of the conference

The International Symposium on Flow Visualization (ISFV) is a world unique forum focused on flow visualization. A wide variety of state-of-the-arts visualization techniques will be presented and discussed to enhance the Flow Visualization. Top Researchers around the world will come to Okinawa, Japan to exchange the advanced and basic information on Flow Visualization.
Okinawa is the southern resort islands of Japan about 2 hours flight from Tokyo and an hour flight from Taipei. Lots of scenic area and Ryukyus historical castles welcome you to come to Okinawa and enjoy the symposium.

History

The International Symposium on Flow Visualization originated in Tokyo (Japan) in 1977 and continued in Bochum (Germany/1980), Ann Arbor (USA / 1983), Paris (France / 1986), Prague (Czechoslovakia / 1989), Yokohama (Japan / 1992), Seattle (USA / 1995), Sorrento (Italy / 1998), Edinburgh (UK / 2000), Kyoto (Japan / 2002), Notre Dame, (USA / 2004), Goettingen (Germany / 2006), Nice (France / 2008), Daegu (Korea / 2010) and in Minks (Belarus / 2012).
